The New West Studio designs you see today have come a long way from my first hand-poured cement back in 2020.
I was just starting my second jewelry company, Reva Grey, and needed to create props for our product photography.
I’ve always been someone who just jumps in and figures things out, so I grabbed some cement, a baking sheet, and empty Christmas ornaments and made my first collection of props.

Then life got busy, and my new passion for hand-poured cement had to take a backseat.
As a single mom and grandma, I focused on time with family, building Reva Grey, and fulfilling my dream to own a fashion boutique in Park City, Olive + Tweed.

Then I met the love of my life, Ron, and together we started a new chapter.
When we decided to build the home we would eventually name The New West, it was with a vision: to create a gathering place that would welcome family and friends with love.
We incorporated our favorite aesthetics — earthy, natural structural elements that extend from the outside to the inside.
We also brought in decor that echoes the heritage of the West, from hair on hide pieces and splashes of turquoise to bespoke artwork exploring Native American themes and Southwest landscapes.
But then I lost Ron just 16 months into our marriage. And I needed to find ways to heal. To connect with others. To pour my heart and hands into something meaningful.

So I returned to hand-poured cement — this time around to create artisan pieces for the home.
I love cement’s timeless, tactile, organic qualities that capture the design philosophies I’ve always been drawn to.
And now I’m finding joy in not only sharing New West Studio decor, but also in sharing the creative experience, through New West Studio and cemented. workshops.
